The man came up to the woman. She  
( syn: to quarrel ) him off. He  ( syn: to chop, mow ) her arm.  

 
The woman sprayed the mans face with something from a can that makes your eyes  
( syn: to inflame ). Then he   ( syn: to escape ). The police have not yet found him. A witness saw the woman get hurt. This person took her to a  ( syn: to come close ) hospital. She is now getting better.
